Pentecost 7, July 12, 2015

We have a strange, gruesome story in our Gospel today.  And Mark tells it in such great detail.  Matthew abbreviates the story quite a bit in in his Gospel.  That was probably a good move.  And Luke and John omit it altogether.  Even better in my opinion!  But here we have it . . . it all its living brutal color . . . .
