There is a lot of talk about division and unity these days.  Over the past several months, certain events seem to have exposed what many see as deep racial divides in our country.  An unusual presidential race seems to be creating rifts and conflicts among political foes as well as former allies!  Many people are trying to work towards unity and yet people seem more divided than ever.  Certain issues or topics draw immediate lines in the sand and close off conversation and even threaten relationships.
